Integrated Therapies

In hospice care, physical therapists help patients maintain self-identity, achieve a comfort level, and best utilize their remaining abilities as the gradual decline in functional abilities, roles, and expectations happens.

Pain Management

Pain and symptom management is one of our principal goals – preserving the patients comfort and managing their symptoms to assure they have the highest quality of life for as long as possible.

Not all patients experience pain at the end of life, but acknowledging it and treating it effectively is vital. The hospice care team will evaluate a patient’s pain on every visit using pain rating scales and the expertise of the clinician.

Social Worker Services

Hospice social workers help clients and their families navigate planning for end-of-life care; they understand their treatment plan and are vocal about their needs. They also manage the stresses of debilitating physical illnesses, including emotional, familial and financial; overcome crisis situations; and connect to other support.
